Our consulting sommelier Corey Zamora, will introduce us to both New World and Old World Wines that will be available at this years festival! What is your favorite aspect of the holiday season? If it’s decorating, then we need you!! Deck Downtown is a long standing volunteer event to decorate downtown! The 2019 event will take place on Sunday, November 10th in the Marina Arts District.
No holiday season is complete without a little competition! Mayor’s Battle of the Bulbs will bring back the days when downtown was your holiday shopping destination and businesses competed for your attention with their holiday decorations. Businesses will compete for bragging rights in categories including Best Use of Lights, Best Window, Best Big Building, Holiday Champion – Best Overall and People’s Choice.
Enrich Local presents the 5th annual Corpus Christi Hot Tamale Fest!
Mark your calendars to join us this year as we celebrate all that makes South Texas amazing: Tamales, music, tamales, art…and more tamales!
This year, proceeds from the festival will benefit The Art Museum of South Texas (AMST) Youth Program Initiative: The Garcia Outreach Center. AMST Educators offer off-site programming throughout the year at the Antonio E. Garcia Arts and Education Center, which is similar to the programming offered at the museum. In addition, a free of charge Arts-After School Program provides tutoring, arts activities and mentoring during the school year.

In the 1960’s, Chaparral Street was the main destination for shopping. During the holiday season, the street was dubbed “Peppermint Lane” and and featured pictures with Santa and carnival rides to celebrate the start of the holiday shopping season.
For the second year in a row, the Downtown Management District will recreate this nostalgic event! Chaparral Street will feature vendors, food trucks, carnival rides and arts and crafts for children and an all-ages fun zone with inflatables and games! Celebrate the holidays and get your shopping done early on Peppermint Lane! Join us on Saturday, November 30th from 12pm to 6pm to share in the holiday fun!
Join us, with your family, on Sunday, December 1st, as we kick off the holidays with our annual Sweets with Santa event.
The Bay Jewel provides a gorgeous backdrop for sweets, stories, family activities, and, of course, a gorgeous professional portrait session with Santa and Mrs. Claus!
We are excited to offer two sessions this year to maximize your fun and special time with the big man himself!
