2019 Dia de los Muertos Street Festival, Saturday, November 2, 3pm to midnight, downtown Corpus Christi on Starr, Mesquite, Peoples, Chaparral and Taylor Streets.

Organized by Axis Tattoo, K Space Contemporary, and House of Rock on Starr, Mesquite, Peoples, Taylor and Chaparral Streets in the Marina Arts District in downtown Corpus Christi.
Features Live Music: Latin Pop/Rock, Kumbia, Ska, Tejano, Flamenco, Mariachi & Salsa. Performances by CC Ballet Folklorico Dance Companies, Mariachi groups, an Hecho a Mano Art Expo featuring 85+ arts and crafts vendors, Kids Corner Activities, Extravagancia de Pinatas Youth Contest & Fine Art Exhibition at K Space Contemporary, TAMUCC Iron Pour & T-Shirt Printing, Altars of Remembrance at the Ritz Theater, food, drinks and lots of face painting!
Inside the Greek Festival, you will find authentic Greek cuisine and beverages, dancing and music, and more including our Greek Market and tours of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, one of the most beautiful sanctuaries in Corpus Christi.

Join us for an evening of wine tasting, light hors d’oeuvres, Art displays, and musical entertainment. Our consulting sommelier Corey Zamora, will introduce us to both New World and Old World Wines that will be available at this years festival! No holiday season is complete without a little competition! Mayor’s Battle of the Bulbs will bring back the days when downtown was your holiday shopping destination and businesses competed for your attention with their holiday decorations. Businesses will compete for bragging rights in categories including Best Use of Lights, Best Window, Best Big Building, Holiday Champion – Best Overall and People’s Choice.

Mark your calendars to join us this year as we celebrate all that makes South Texas amazing: Tamales, music, tamales, art…and more tamales!
This year, proceeds from the festival will benefit The Art Museum of South Texas (AMST) Youth Program Initiative: The Garcia Outreach Center. AMST Educators offer off-site programming throughout the year at the Antonio E. Garcia Arts and Education Center, which is similar to the programming offered at the museum. In addition, a free of charge Arts-After School Program provides tutoring, arts activities and mentoring during the school year.
