From Radiohead to Bad Religion to Journey to Guided by Voices, The Electrotypes are a guitar-based trio that offers renditions of cover band standards and brave re-imaginings of synth-based pop gems. For the uninitiated, Cassidy’s is perhaps one of the most vintage watering holes in the city and a small capacity venue at that so if you plan to catch The Electrotypes, be sure to get there early to find a seat or you could find yourself standing for the rest of the night.The Electrotypes will play starting at 10 p.m. all the way until closing time four hours later.

Hank Harrison, Xavier Ramos, and Jeremy Wells all started out at the same tiny college in Virginia called Christopher Newport University where they were all fraternity brothers. After graduation, life sent them on their separate journeys, but fast forward a few years and they are now all co-owners in a start-up that is taking Corpus Christi, Texas by storm – Ramos & Harrison. Maybe you haven’t heard that company name before but you have certainly heard of at least one of the projects they have started in the last 2 years. The most notable are Munchies Bus, Chef Tony’s Custom Cuisine, and most recently The Exchange Corpus Christi, which has quickly become a creative hub in the downtown area.
