Every Saturday at Rockit’s Whiskey Bar and Saloon, we feature local and national talent. This week, join us for an intimate evening of “funky R&B that’ll rock you to the end.”

The Electrotypes are a downtown favorite and their eclectic modern rock set list is sure to find favor with even the most disagreeable of the alternative nation generation. From Radiohead to Bad Religion to Journey to Guided by Voices, The Electrotypes are a guitar-based trio that offers renditions of cover band standards and brave re-imaginings of synth-based pop gems. For the uninitiated, Cassidy’s is perhaps one of the most vintage watering holes in the city and a small capacity venue at that so if you plan to catch The Electrotypes, be sure to get there early to find a seat or you could find yourself standing for the rest of the night.The Electrotypes will play starting at 10 p.m. all the way until closing time four hours later.

Reverend’s Daughter isn’t just a band — it’s a new step up for Texas music! With Raymond smith on drums, Ron on lead guitar, Albert on bass, Leonard on keys, and D-rock on vocals, these guys live it! Not only do they put on a show of pure heart but they will have your head bobbing back and forth and your feet two-stepping like there’s no tomorrow!! Donations can be:
pet beds, puppy pads, dry dog and cat food, Cat litter, Dog and cat toys. Basic cleaning supplies like detergent, bleach, and paper towels.
