Corpus Christi, Texas. – Mayor Paulette Guajardo and the Corpus Christi Downtown Management District (DMD) are excited to announce the winners of Mayor’s Merriest Downtown Décor Contest sponsored by NEC Co-Op Energy.


The winners for each category are:

Holiday Champion: Taylor Cravey Photography
Best Use of Lights: The Gold Fish
Best Big Building: One Shoreline Plaza
Best Window Paint: Executive Surf Club
Best Window Display: Mully’s Irish
Best Interior Design: Cassidy’s Irish Pub
People’s Choice: House of Rock

“It was honor to be involved in the Mayor’s Merriest Downtown Décor Contest!” said Mayor Paulette Guajardo. “Congratulations to all of the winners and thank you all for your participation in this event which brought wonder and joy to Downtown visitors.”

The 34 participating businesses transformed their establishments using lights, décor and even music for a chance to take home the title in one of the seven categories. Awards will be presented at the City Council meeting on Tuesday, January 25 at 11:00am. This is the fourth consecutive year downtown businesses have participated in the contest
