Frost Bank

Frost Bank will soon break ground on a new home for their main office. Located at Shoreline Blvd and Park Ave. the new office will be a modern addition to the quickly changing southern end of Downtown.

The Cosmopolitan

The Cosmopolitan Apartments Phase 1 is complete and now leasing. New residents are officially moving in now. Located in the heart of the Marina Arts District this project is expected to be a catalyst for even more residential and and commercial development within the surrounding blocks.

Marriott

At Shoreline Blvd and Kinney St. a new Marriott Residence is rising. This 5-story, 110-room hotel will feature a rooftop bar. It's just one of several projects filling in the once vacant blocks within the new Water's Edge District.

600 Building

New Orleans architect and developer plans to convert this historic office building into modern apartments with mixed-use space at ground level and an amenity stack featuring activities and shared work spaces. Located in the Uptown District this is one of many new residential projects taking shape up on the bluff overlooking the Marina Arts District.

Studio 44 Lofts

This is Phase 1 of the Stonewater Development will feature micro units for efficient living as well as a one wall art installation that will inject more art into the Downtown area. This project utilized TIRZ #3 incentives to get the project off the ground.

TIRZ #3 incentives, zoning and permits have all been approved for this 7-story hotel located in the SEA District. Perched alongside Whataburger Field this new addition will provide breathtaking views of the ballpark and showcase progress on the new Harbor Bridge. Bridge.

Harbor Bridge

Slated to open in 2019-2020, the new Harbor Bridge will be the longest bridge of it's kind in North America. The new structure will officially stand as the tallest structure in South Texas and will be a marvel of modern transportation construction.

Spohn Hospital

The 10-story expansion of Spohn Hostpital Shoreline is just one reason the southern part of Downtown is becoming the Medical District. This state-of-the-art addition will house the regions only Level II Trauma Center south of San Antonio.

Texas State Aquarium

The $50 million Caribbean Journey exhibit opened Summer 2017 to record attendance. The expansion of the aquarium includes a 4-D theater, an indoor jungle and massive shark tank. This project nearly tripled the size of the facility securing it as one of the top aquariums in the country.

The Gold Fish

Utilizing TIRZ #3 incentives, this biergarten and craft cocktail venue is now open and attracting downtown residents in droves.

Also a recipient of TIRZ funding, Urbana is now open providing a much needed and commonly requested need–groceries! Their selection of groceries and breakfast and dinner menu items is a great addition to the growing services found in Downtown.

BUS

BUS (or Bar Under the Sun) is taking over the former Greyhound Bus Terminal and will seen be home to rotating food trucks surrounding a indoor outdoor bar that is sophisticated in style but casual in demeanor.
