Mayor’s Battle of the Bulbs will bring back the days when downtown was your holiday shopping destination and businesses competed for your attention with their holiday decorations. Businesses will compete for bragging rights in categories including Best Use of Lights, Best Window, Best Big Building, Holiday Champion – Best Overall and People’s Choice.
This annual fundraising event for public broadcasting station KEDT will be held at the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History, 1900 N. Chaparral, 7:00pm – 9:30pm. Guests can sip and savor an array of domestic and imported wines from a complimentary Food & Wine Classic wine glass while indulging in the culinary creations from South Texas’ finest food establishments. In addition, guests will enjoy live music, a photo booth and complimentary valet parking. Dress is semiformal. General admission tickets are $100. Please join us on February 11th for our 2nd Annual School Health & Safety Conference. This one day Conference brings attention to areas addressed in Senate Bill 11. Presenters from various organizations will provide up-to-date information in order to help us better protect our students and community. Some of these organizations include: Texas School Safety Center, United States Drug Enforcement Administration, Driscoll Children’s Hospital, Sara Leon & Associates, LLC, and many more!
